WBBSE Class 10 result 2018: The West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBSE) announced the result of the Madhyamik (Secondary or Class 10) examination on Wednesday.

The West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBSE) declared the result of the Madhyamik (Secondary or Class 10) examination on Wednesday. Once the result is uploaded online, students can check their result here. and on the official websites: wbresults.nic.in and wbbse.org

The pass percentage this year is 85.49%.

Schools will be able to collect marksheets from WBBSE camp offices from 10am, and distribute it among students.

This year Madhyamik examination started from March 12, 2018, and ended on March 21, 2018.

The total number of examinees this time was 11,02,921 as against 10,71,846 in 2017. The number of girls appearing for Madhyamik 2018 was higher than the number of boys for the second consecutive year. The total number of girls who took the exam this year was 6,21,366, which is 56% of the total examinees. On the other hand, the number boys who appeared for the Madhyamik 2018 was 4,81,555 or 44%.

For the first time, this year the examination was conducted in Santhali (Ol Chiki) script. A total of 832 students attempted the exam in Ol Chiki script.

The overall pass percentage in Madhyamik 2017 was 82.98%. The pass percentage of boys was 86.34% and girls was 79.62%.
