Malaysia: Stocks end the day higher

MALAYSIAN stocks closed higher on Wednesday, with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 21.99 points to 1,777.13.

Volume was 3.5 billion lots worth RM3.02 billion.

Gainers outnumbered losers by 716 to 267.
