Prime Minister's National Relief Fund(PMNRF) and National Defence Fund(NDF)

All donations towards the Prime Minister's National Relief Fund(PMNRF) and the National Defence Fund(NDF) are notified for 100% deduction from taxable income under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act,1961

The Sensex at the Bombay Stock Exchange climbed 223 points, or 0.64 per cent, to 35,127 in afternoon trade. The Nifty at the National Stock Exchange also surged 69 points, or 0.65 percent, to 10,663.

The rupee at the Forex market appreciated 10 paise to 67 rupees and five paise against the US dollar.
