Sachin Tendulkar and Rohit Sharma led wishes for the Indian cricket team vice-captain Ajinkya Rahane, who turned 30 on Wednesday.

Rahane, who impressively led the Rajasthan Royals (RR) into the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2018 playoffs on their comeback after a two-year absence, will next be seen in action mid-June.

Rahane will be leading the Indian cricket team against Afghanistan in a one-off Test starting June 14 at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore. It is a historic Test as the Afghans are making their debut in the conventional form of the game.
