NEW PHILADELPHIA Joshua Barron, 37, of Dover, was found guilty Tuesday of attempted murder and assault in connection with the stabbing of Nick Hershberger in Dover on Feb. 3.

Under terms of a plea agreement reached with the Tuscarawas County Prosecutor's Office, Barron will serve eight years in prison, according to Assistant Prosecutor Michael Ernest. Tuscarawas County Common Pleas Judge Edward O'Farrell is scheduled to pronounce sentence on Monday.
