More passengers at the airports in Berlin – passengers should plan enough time ahead for check-in and security checks
The airports in Berlin are experiencing a further rise in the number of travel destinations and passengers. More passengers are especially expected at the beginning of the summer holidays.
To ensure a smooth as possible process at check-in and at the security checks, passengers are asked to be at the airport between two to three hours before departure time, depending on the travel destination. The actual opening times of check-in counters can be requested from the relevant airline.
Following the expansion of airline operations from easyJet, Germania and Eurowings, from the 1st June the airline company Laudamotion will fly to 18 new destinations from Berlin Tegel. Thus, the air traffic will again arrive at levels reached last summer.
At Schönefeld Airport too, all passengers are being asked to arrive punctually at the airport – two to three hours before departure time, depending on the travel destination.
