VARANASI: A six-year-old girl was allegedly raped by a youth in a village under
Phephana police station area of
Ballia district on Monday night. An FIR was lodged after medical examination of the girl on Tuesday.
The accused is absconding. One Raju Rajbhar of the same village allegedly sneaked into the girl's house to
rape her. On hearing her cries the family members woke up and found the girl in traumatized state with torn cloths and bruises on the body.
A manhunt was launched to nab the accused.
