The Telangana government today proposed to build multi-level parking complexes on public-private partnership (ppp) mode to address parking and traffic woes in Hyderabad.
Chief Secretary S K Joshi, who held a meeting with city Mayor B Rammohan and officials, directed that Expression of Interest be invited in a month for construction of the proposed multi-level parking complexes, a state government release said.
He suggested that traffic experts study the proposals received for construction of multi-level parking complexes in government and private lands, the release said.
The Mayor said technology being used in different countries should be taken into consideration in preparing the proposals, it added.
