Strasburg-Franklin Local Schools announced junior Sophia Jouini and seventh-grader Hailey Haswell its Students of the Month for May.
Jouini was nominated by English teacher Ellen Christy, and Haswell was nominated by social studies teacher Cory Nussbaum. Plaques will be awarded at the 6:30 p.m. June 20 board of education meeting.
