Police pull man from burning car at Gympie
A 73-year-old man was rescued from his burning car by two police officers at Gympie on Wednesday morning.
The police officers were called to reports of a single car crash on Chapple Street at about 7am, and arrived to find the car on its side with the driver, the sole occupant, trapped.
Vision released by police shows smoke pouring from the car before it catches alight as a senior constable and constable worked to kick and smash the windscreen in.
