Russell Humphrey, the former YOPA director has recently been appointed the new managing director of online real estate agency, easyProperty. He will be replacing one of the company's key staff members who had moved to the newly merged Tepilo-Emoov operation.

Humphrey started his career in the property industry in 1996 and since has worked as a negotiator, regional division director, and MD of a Midlands independent agency group.

His most recent role was as national agency director at YOPA, an online service that is backed heavily by LSL Property Services and Savills. Humphrey's role at YOPA had him developing the Local Property Professional proposition and localizing different marketing projects.

“Having undertaken many roles within estate agency within a variety of models, I can relate to and identify the current needs of property professionals, estate agents and their customers,” says Humphrey.

“I’m delighted to build on the firm foundations of easyProperty. I look forward to shaping it’s future and striving to achieve excellence in all aspects of the service easyProperty delivers on behalf of its licensees.”

The Chief Executive of the parent company to easyProperty, eProp Services, Jon Cooke commented, “Russell Humphrey brings a depth of experience in both traditional and online estate agency, and he is well placed to build on the easyProperty licensing businesses. Our investment in Russell underscores our commitment to this sector and, importantly, our continued support in helping independent estate agents win a wider market share in their locations through innovation."

Adam Day was the previous managing director who was originally chosen specifically to join the easyProperty team only a year ago. Day has moved on to become the head of estate agency at the recently merged Tepilo-Emoov company.
