These targets are part of the Travel with Purpose of Hilton and its corporate responsibility strategy to further the United Nation’s 2030 Sustainable Development Agenda.

As per the release, by now, Hilton is an environmental leader in the industry where, since 2008, the hotel chain has decreased carbon emissions and waste by 30 percent, energy and water consumption by 20% saving around USD 1 bn in operating efficiencies.
