The iconic Tagore Hall in the summer capital of came alive today as famous Qawwali singers Nizami Bandhu enthralled the audience at a Ramzan special programme.
Nizami Bandhus -- Chand Nizami, Shadab Mizami and Sohrab Nizami -- enthralled Sufi music lovers to an array of scintillating qawwalis at a Sufiyana qawwali event organised at by the Academy of Art, Culture and Languages (JKAACL).
The event, as part of the ongoing Ramzan special series of programmes, was supported by the School Education Department and the Tourism Department, an official of the JKAACL said.
He said performing at the Tagore Hall for the second time in the past two years, the Nizami Bandhu mesmerised the audience in the jam-packed hall who greeted them with thundering rounds of applause.
Speaking on the occasion, JKAACL secretary Aziz Hajini said, We started the series last year, which by now has become a regular activity.
