ITV Loose Women: Viewers slam ‘awkward’ interview with Lily Allen
LOOSE WOMEN hosted pop star Lily Allen this afternoon for an intimate interview regarding her newest album and her recent divorce, but viewers weren’t happy with it.
Branching from the subject of mothers’ guilt which was spoken about earlier on in the show, the Loose Women brought Lily Allen to the panel.
The Smile singer set about discussing her new album, which will be the first album she has released since 2014.
The album includes songs that talk about mum guilt, and how her life has inspired her newest music.
However the interview wasn’t as smooth as it could have been.
While Ruth Langsford and Stacey Soloman worked hard to give Lily a chance to answer their questions, she didn’t react to the interview much.
Loose Women viewers flocked to Twitter to comment on the interview's "awkwardness".
One wrote: “#loosewomen How awkward is this interview?”
Another said: “This is a horrendous interview #LooseWomen.”
And the tweets continued throughout the entirety of the interview.
They went on: “That was awkward viewing #loosewomen".

“It exploits the very worst kind of female rivalry and competition.”
“And the idea that we’re looking at ‘perfect’ bodies, the idea that you can just swap a partner.”
Although her claims fell on deaf ears as all the Loose Women admitted they loved the show.
However by the end of the episode she admitted she may begin watching it.
