Rythu Bandhu cheques returned

The district administration had received the rythu bandhu scheme cheques valued at ₹14.68 lakh as refund following the land owners giving up the scheme to the district administration.

Prominent among those who had given up the rythu bandhu scheme include Maharashtra Governor Ch Vidyasagar Rao, who had returned cheques valued at ₹1,09,800 of his land holdings from his native village Nagaram of Konaraopeta mandal. Vemulawada legislator Chennamaneni Ramesh Babu had returned a cheque of ₹73,200 for his land holdings from Thippapur village of Vemulawada mandal.

Telangana State Cooperative Apex Bank (TSCAB) Chairman K. Ravinder Rao handed over a cheque of ₹1,47,100 for his land from Gajasingavaram of Gambhiraopeta mandal and Maddimalla village of Veernapalli mandal. Karimnagar Dairy Chairman Ch. Rajeshwara Rao returned the cheque amount ₹24,300 of his land from Malkapet village of Konaraopeta mandal.

Former Minister Chalmeda Anand Rao returned a cheque of ₹27,650 from Malkapet village of Konaraopeta mandal. Similarly, his other family members also returned the rythu bandhu cheques to the district administration.
