Delhi judge asks students to plant trees, shun plastic

High Court's Acting on Tuesday asked students to plant more trees and stop use products including glasses, bottles and plates.

She asked students to participate in tree plantation and nurture them not only for themselves but also for a better future for the coming generation, while not using products in view of their environmental impact. She also distributed jute and cloth bags to school children to encourage them to make free.A

Justice Mittal was addressing a gathering organised by State Legal Services Authority in coordination with Government's Department of and Forest to celebrate World Day at in south Delhi.
