Assam govt to take measures to increase forest cover

After planting saplings at another function in Digboi, said low grade single-use posed a grave challenge to the environment and a collective approach is required to overcome this challenge.

"Plastic is not bio-degradable and use of low grade reduces soil fertility. I appeal to all sections of the society to discourage the use of plastics," he added.
