Mercedes Subscription Service Launches In The US For $1,095 Per Month

Following a preview in April, Mercedes has officially launched its pilot subscription service in the United States.

Available in Philadelphia and Nashville, the Mercedes-Benz Collection will be offered with three tiers called Signature, Reserve and Premier. Mercedes was surprisingly coy on details but for good reason, the subscription service is slightly different in each city.

In Nashville, the Signature program costs $1,095 per month and will give subscribers access to an assortment of different vehicles including the C 300 Sedan / Coupe / Convertible, CLA 45, GLC 300 / GLC 300 Coupe and SLC 300 Roadster.

The Reserve tier costs an additional $500 a month but it provides access to more premium vehicles such as the C43 Sedan / Coupe, E 300 Sedan, E 400 Coupe / Wagon, GLC 43, GLE 350 and SLC 43.

Customers looking to get behind the wheel of an S-Class are out of luck as the Premier tier isn’t offer in the home of country music.

In Philadelphia, the base tier is the Reserve which costs $1,595 per month. Customers in the city won’t have access to the SLC 43 but they do get the E 400 Sedan and Convertible.

Mercedes will also offer the Premier tier in Philadelphia which costs $2,995 per month. It includes luxury and performance models such as the C63 S Sedan / Coupe, E63 S Sedan, S 560, GLE 63 S / GLE 63 S Coupe, GLS 550, G 550 and SL 550.

Customers who are interested in the program will need to pay a one-time activation fee of $495, be at least 21 years old and have an “acceptable driving record.” It’s also worth noting that customers can’t smoke in the vehicles and can only transport pets in crates.

The program is a little pricey but it includes unlimited mileage and exchanges as well as insurance. Users will also have access to a personal concierge who will clean, fuel and deliver each vehicle when requested via a dedicated app. Mercedes will also handle all maintenance and repairs.
