Get ready Game of Thrones fans there will be an official soundtrack album for the final season

New York – If you love Game of Thrones as much as we do, get ready because there’s going to be an official soundtrack to accompany the hotly anticipated final eighth season. 

Columbia Records and the show's network HBO have partnered to create an officially licensed album of music inspired by the sweeping television epic.

The final season of GOT will be premiering in 2019.  

The soundtrack will feature songs inspired by the hit series and will showcase artists from diverse musical genres. 

There's no official trailer for season 8 of the show yet, but here's the trailer for season 7 to remind you of all the ice-laden drama that took place.

GAME OF THRONES’ SUCCESS: 

Viewed in more than 170 countries and hailed as a global and social media phenomenon, Game of Thrones has countless music and entertainment stars among its fan base (including Kristen Bell, Dax Shepard and Jennifer Lopez), many of whom regularly share their love for the epic series on social media.

Game of Thrones continues to be the most successful franchise in HBO history and remains the most awarded drama series in Emmy history, with 38 Emmys to date. 

The show is based on the best-selling book series, A Song of Ice and Fire, by George R.R. Martin and created by David Benioff and D.B. Weiss.
