Police seize 18 kilograms of cannabis during Belconnen traffic stop

A Victorian man will face court in Canberra on Tuesday morning after police allegedly found 18 kilograms of cannabis in his ute during a traffic stop.

ACT Policing said officers stopped a ute in Belconnen on Monday and found the drugs in three large bags, which were stored in the back tray.

The 41-year-old driver was arrested and taken to City Police Station, where he was charged with possession of a trafficable quantity of cannabis.
