NEET results were announced on Monday. Over 13 lakh aspirants appeared for the exam.

"I draw my inspiration from my father who is a dermatologist and mother who is a pathologist." When asked about his preparation, he said, "I went through the NCERT biology textbook 7-8 times and focused on the core concepts of physics and chemistry. " Apart from studies, Saraswat likes playing the guitar and writes an online blog.

Om Prakash Pathak is a pediatrician and his mother is a teacher. "I want to become a neurosurgeon and my preferred colleges are
Maulana Azad, UCMS Delhi, and KGMU," he says. Interstingly, Pathak is also a hip-hop dancer and lists out singing and drawing and his hobbies.
After preparing for the highly competitive exam for two years , Zareen Akhtar, secured a rank of 495 this time. "I aspire to become the first doctor in my family," says Zareen who wants to join KGMU and pursues photography as a hobby.
Mudit Kashyap, a student of Study Hall, Gomtinagar, secured all-India rank of 217. This was his 2nd attempt. "I was very disappointed the first time when I narrowly missed a government college and had almost lost hope of being a doctor. However, I managed to stay determined because my parents were extremely supportive throughout." Kashyap loves to play cricket and is fond of reading books in free time. His father a civil engineer and mother a teacher.
