NAGPUR: A special court under Information Technology (IT) Act directed
Vodafone Cellular Limited and Bank of India (BOI) to compensate the account holder with Rs18.50 lakh for their negligence that led to fraudulent withdrawal from his account. Of this amount, the leading cellular operator would pay Rs15 lakh while the
BOI would shell out Rs3.5 lakh.
