Governors, Lt. Governors conference to deliberate on implementation of various flagship programmes

President Ram Nath Kovind, Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Rajnath Singh will address the concluding session of the 49th Conference of Governors at Rashtrapati Bhawan in New Delhi today.

A special session on Union Territories will be also held, at which Lieutenant Governors and Administrators of Union Territories will discuss the status of implementation of various flagship programmes.

The Governors will discuss ideas on how to commemorate the 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi. The two-day conference began yesterday.
