BEAVER — Two men accused of burglarizing a Beaver Falls shoe store in February were sentenced after making pleas in the case.

According to online court records, Donald M. Yeager, 58, and John Gebhardt, 50, both of Beaver Falls, were charged in the burglary of Enelow’s shoe store at 1024 Seventh Ave.

Yeager pleaded guilty on May 23 to conspiracy to commit burglary and was sentenced to serve between two and four years in prison, court records indicate.

Gebhardt also pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit burglary. According to court records, he was sentenced to between one and two years in jail, followed by six months on probation.

At the time of their arrest, police said investigators connected both men to the Feb. 5 shoe store burglary.

According to the report, the men worked together to break into the business. Police said Gebhardt drove to the store, and Yeager used a block to smash the front door. Yeager went inside and took money, police said. Investigators believe he gave some of the stolen money to Gebhart.

According to the report, Yeager admitted to police he was involved in the incident. The amount taken from the store was not disclosed.

Other charges, including receiving stolen property, were dismissed as a result of their pleas, records show.
