Goa health minister Vishwajit Rane said, the state has significantly benefited from the NDA government at the Centre in the last four years. Mr Rane was addressing a press conference in Panaji today.
He informed that the state health department has received over 350 crore rupees under the Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojana and works are underway to improve the state’s health services and infrastructure.
Separately, he said that around 13,000 to 15,000 crore rupees have been sanctioned to the PWD department for infrastructure development, under which road widening works have commenced across North Goa and South Goa. Mr Rane added that these infrastructure development works will boost the state’s economy in the future.
