Indore: A 19-year-old girl was stabbed to death by unidentified people in Niranjanpur Basti of Lasudia police station area on Monday noon. Her body, lying in a pool of blood, was found in her house and she had multiple wounds of stabbing.
According to police, Arti Moulik alias Tinku was found dead in her house on Monday noon. She was employed in catering service. “She was living at her uncle’s place and was alone at the time of incident. It was discovered when her uncle returned from work. She was rushed to the hospital by family members with the help of local residents but was declared brain dead,” CSP (Vijay Nagar) Jayant Rathore said.
He said that Aarti was seen outside her house till 12.30 pm while drawing water from the water tanker. “She had married twice but had left both men. Preliminary investigation indicates that a known person is involved in her killing.” Rathore said. The officer claims that they will solve the case soon and will arrest the accused.
