Marouane Fellaini talks over
Arsenal have ended their interest in Manchester United midfielder Marouane Fellaini.
Fellaini’s contract at Manchester United expires at the end of the month and Arsenal have been linked as Unai Emery searches for a towering central midfielder.
However, The Sun claims many influential figures at the Emirates do not consider Fellaini an Arsenal-type player.
Fellaini still has a 12-month extension on the table at Old Trafford, with United boss Jose Mourinho desperate to keep the 30-year-old.
The Belgium international may be forced to extend his stay but will not make a decision on his future until he returns from this summer’s World Cup in Russia.

Sergej Milinkovic-Savic fee
Manchester United should snap up Sergej Milinkovic-Savic if they can strike a deal for £88m, according to former Lazio striker Pierluigi Casiraghi.
Milinkovic-Savic is on Jose Mourinho’s wanted list as he looks to compensate for Michael Carricks’s retirement and Marouane Fellaini’s probable departure.
Lazio are thought to be demanding a minimum of £88m (€100m) for the Serbia international - just £1m shy of Manchester United’s club-record spend on Paul Pogba.
"I do not know if the valuation is right, if I had €100m I would buy him," Casiraghi told RMC Sport. "I like him very much, not from today, he was immediately seen as a great player. He is unique, he is just 23 years old."

Second summer signing
Manchester United are closing in on their second summer signing with Diogo Dalot set for a medical.
The Portuguese right back, 19, will follow Fred into Old Trafford and will add competition for Antonio Valencia.
Manchester United have triggered his £17.4m release clause and Sky Sports claim he will undergo a medical this week.
Fred took his United medical yesterday and is set to be announced as the club’s first signing today.
Dalit, who can play either side but is more comfortable on the right, is expected to be one of three new defenders at United this summer.
A move for Toby Alderweireld and a specialist left-back look set to follow.

Antoine Griezmann twist
Barcelona face pain in their pursuit of Atletico Madrid star Antoine Griezmann with reports claiming the striker is closer to Manchester United than the Nou Camp.
Barcelona have been battling Manchester United for Griezmann ever since last summer.
Then, the France striker looked set to swap Atletico Madrid for Old Trafford, only to end up staying.
Barcelona have always appeared frontrunners in the race to sign Griezmann, despite United’s interest.
But Spanish outlet Diario Gol say the Atletico hitman is now moving away from Barcelona and closer to the Premier League.
Diario Gol also say, though, he could stay at Atletico.

Fred update
Manchester United are set to complete the signing of Fred today.
The Brazil international underwent a medical at Carrington yesterday and will become the club’s first summer signing.
Fred raced up to Manchester from Liverpool after playing in Brazil’s 2-0 win over Croatia at Anfield on Sunday.
He passed his medical and has gone through the formalities of the deal over the last 24 hours.
And the 25-year-old will be announced as a Manchester United player today.
Cristiano Ronaldo salary
Cristiano Ronaldo could return to Manchester United from Real Madrid with reports suggesting the Red Devils have settled on a salary to offer their former No 7.
Ronaldo is being linked with a Manchester United return after hinting his time at Real Madrid was coming to an end.
And Transfermarketweb say United have settled on how much they will offer for Ronaldo.
The report suggests they are willing to offer him a huge £15.8m a year.
It has been claimed Ronaldo wants to quit Real because of their refusal to meet his wage demands.
Yet United are reportedly confident that they can convince the Portugal international to take a pay cut.
