New dean at Indra Gandhi Government Medical College

NAGPUR: Following Dr Anuradha Shrikhande’s retirement, Dr Ajay Keoliya has been appointed as the new dean of Indira Gandhi Government Medical College (IGGMC). An order stating this has been issued by state government's medical and drugs department on Tuesday.

Dr Keoliya, who was earlier HOD of forensic department at IGGMC, has been transferred from Government Medical College in Akola where he was the dean.

Dr Shrikhande retired as the dean of the hospital on May 31 after which medical superintendent Dr Sandhya Manjrekar was made incharge for the interim period. Commenting on his transfer, Dr Keoliya said, “I've been a part of this college earlier, and I understand it's functioning. I'm confident of being able to deliver to the best of my abilities and contribute to the overall development of the college.”
