Posting objectionable photo of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and using derogatory language against the saffron flag proved costly as two persons were arrested from Gorakhpur and Maharajganj respectively.

As per reports, objectionable photo and remarks about Yogi on social media sites was noticed by Hindu Yuva Vahini activist Mukesh in Gorakhpur who later logded a report with the police.

After probe, the police later arrested Vinay Yadav from Bakshipur area (Gorakhpur) and Siraz Alam of Nichlaul (Maharajganj) on Monday morning.

Thge police saidthat Yadav posted objectionable photos of the CM while Siraz shared the post after attaching derogatory remarks on the saffron flag. A case was registered against the duo under relevant sectionsand they were sent to jail.

Meanwhile in Muzaffarnagar, a wanted criminal was killed and a police personnel injured during an encounter near Falawda village of Purkazi police station area on Monday morning.

SP (City) Omveer Singh said, “ Ramesh alias Nanu, who was carrying Rs50,000 for his arrest, was killed in the encounter. In the exchange of fire, SHO of Purkazi, Vijay Singh was also injured. A motorcycle and a pistol was seized.”

0Ramesh was wanted in more than a dozen cases of loot and murder in Muzaffarnagar and Saharanpur districts.
