The Santacruz police on Monday booked actor Armaan Kohli for allegedly assaulting his girlfriend of three years, fashion stylist Neeru Randhawa.
“Ms. Randhawa has said she and Mr. Kohli had a fight over financial issues on Sunday, and that he pushed her down a flight of stairs. She said he hit her, grabbed her hair and hit her head against the floor,” senior police inspector Shantanu Pawar said.
Mr. Kohli was not present when the police visited his residence near Juhu Chowpatty, officers said.
Ms. Randhawa has been admitted to Kokilaben Ambani Hospital.
