He will assume his role from August 1, 2018.
The position was previously held by Sachin Sandhir who left in January to join Valocity, a mortgage and valuation technology firm.
Gupta in his new role will continue building on RICS’ current footprint in promoting the adoption of RICS’ professional standards and assurance regime in India’s growing real estate, valuation and construction sectors.
He has over 22 years of experience in real estate, construction, education training and technology adoption. Previously, he has worked with Vipul Modern, Laing o’ Rourke, Bovis Lend Lease and Larsen & Toubro.
Gupta has been associated with RICS since 2005.
