Cape Town – Ariana Grande is reflecting on her difficult yet transformative year along with unveiling a new look in the July issue of British Vogue magazine.

Appearing on the magazine’s cover, photographed by Craig McDean, the 24-year-old has rid of her iconic high ponytail and is sporting loose and wavy blonde locks.

Speaking about why she has always turned to tying her think brown hair up, Ariana says her high ponytail makes her feel comfortable after years of struggling with damaged hair as a result of bleaching her locks for the Nickelodeon show, Sam & Cat.

The singer/actress never stopped working following a bombing at one of her concerts in Manchester a little over a year ago, in May 2017.

Speaking to Vogue’s Giles Hattersley, Ariana reveals that she finds it hard to talk about because she knows how many people suffered on the day of the bombing.

“It’s hard to talk about because so many people have suffered such severe, tremendous loss. But, yeah, it's a real thing.”

She adds that she struggled with PTSD but found that working helped her cope.

“I know those families and my fans, and everyone there experienced a tremendous amount of it as well. Time is the biggest thing...

“Everybody thought I was crazy when I got home and wanted to hit the ground running.”
