ONGC of Tripura Asset observed World Environment Day today in their base complex at Agartala as well as at different Rigs and installation across the state. On this occasion, Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO) of ONGC Dr. A. K. Ambasht was present as the Chief Guest.

Addressing a gathering, Dr. Ambasht said, this year United Nations Environment Programme has given a very appropriate theme for the environment day which is ‘Beat the plastic pollution”. He said, plastic is a menace to the modern civilization which threatens the existence of mankind.

Addressing the gathering, Executive Director-Asset Manager, G.K. Singha Roy stressed the need for stopping plastic pollution. In this function, large number of executives and employees, representatives from all the collectives and ONGC wards were present.
