Luis Enrique ready for talks
Luis Enrique is ready to drop his transfer demands to ensure he becomes Chelsea manager this summer.
The Spaniard had been in negotiations with the Blues last month before talks with club officials reached a stalemate.
Chelsea went back to the drawing board yet again, aiming to finally persuade Maurizio Sarri to make the switch to west London.
And Laurent Blanc has also been approached about ending his two-year spell out of senior management.
But according to Yahoo Sports journalist Duncan Castles, Enrique is back in the frame and this time the former Barcelona boss is ready to compromise with Chelsea chiefs.
The 48-year-old is willing to loosen his demands for total control over the club's transfer policy if he is appointed by the former Premier League champions.
But Enrique will still demand a high salary should he agree to take the Chelsea job.

Jasper Cillessen klaxon
Barcelona stopper Jasper Cillessen is heading to the Premier League.
At least that’s what outlandish transfer website Diario Gol are saying this evening.
Arsenal, Liverpool and Chelsea have all been linked with the Netherlands international, who made just one La Liga appearance this season.
And it appears he wants to leave the Nou Camp to secure regular first-team football after telling the Catalan giants that he’s heading to England.
Cillessen, 29, has a £52.7million release clause in his contract but Diario Gol claim Barcelona are willing to sell for around £26.3m.

Gonzalo Higuain stumbling block
The absence of Champions League football at Stamford Bridge next season could see Chelsea miss out on signing Juventus striker Gonzalo Higuain, according to Shaka Hislop.
Higuain has been linked with a move to Chelsea in recent days, with Alvaro Morata potentially heading in the opposite direction.
But Hislop believes that only time will tell over whether he is happy not to play Champions League football.
“I’ll tell you what, I think this ticks a lot of boxes,” Hislop said. “I know Antonio Conte is there for the time being, but I don’t expect him to be Chelsea manager at the start of next season.
“I still think they need an out-and-out, top-notch striker at Stamford Bridge. This makes sense, whether Higuain is happy to not play Champions League football, time will tell.
“I’m going to put this down as a hit because I think it makes sense for Chelsea and in particular Juventus, who have cover and Higuain is, what, 30 years old now.
“Maybe this is their last opportunity to get a big-money transfer fee for the Argentine.”
Leon Bailey wanted
Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp wants to sign Bayer Leverkusen star Leon Bailey.
Bailey, who joined Leverkusen from Genk for £17million in January 2017, has caught the attention of a number of Europe’s elite sides.
Chelsea, Real Madrid, Manchester United and Bayern Munich have all been linked with the speedy Jamaican winger over the past 12 months.
And Liverpool have now thrown their hat in the ring.
Website CalcioInsider claim Jurgen Klopp wants Bailey at Anfield to provide cover for Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah.
Bailey scored nine goals and provided six assists in 30 Bundesliga appearances last campaign, and is reportedly worth in the region of £70million.
