Pandavula Cheruvu to be inaugurated in two weeks

Irrigation Minister T. Harish Rao said Muslim minorities are taken care of the best by TRS Government.

Addressing a gathering after distributing clothes and other materials to the Muslims at Gajwel during Ramzan on Monday, Mr. Harish Rao said Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao has been extending assistance to Muslims more than any chief minister in the past.

A Shadikhana was established at Gajwel at a cost of ₹1 crore, he said and added that another ₹1 crore would be sanctioned in another 10 days for creating other facilities like kitchen shed and compound wall. The Minister said this would be made available for public in another three months.

“During the Congress rule the amount sanctioned by them was not enough even for basement leave alone buildings. People are witnessing the development that had never taken place in the last seven decades. The 100-bed hospital will be transformed as district hospital and in addition to an ICU, dialysis unit and blood bank would be set up shortly. Similarly, vegetarian and non-vegetarian markets are being constructed at an estimated cost of ₹14 crore,” said Mr. Harish Rao adding that even a train route was being laid from Hyderabad to Karimnagar via Gajwel and Siddipet.

Building a cotton market at a cost of ₹ 6 crore and ring road at a cost of ₹250 crore are in progress, the Minister said. The Pandavula Cheruvu would be inaugurated in another two weeks.
