Here is the dialogue offer, now respond to it: Mufti to Hurriyat

SRINAGAR: Jammu and Kashmir chief minister Mehbooba Mufti urged Hurriyat leaders to respond positively to Union home minister Rajnath Singh’s offer of dialogue and help extricate the state from an unending spree of violence, saying such opportunities don’t knock at the door again and again.
Mufti said that if this opportunity — when the Centre had offered dialogue and announced non-initiation of combat operations (NICO) during the holy month of Ramzan — was lost, then nobody would plead the case of J&K.
She said that guns had achieved nothing and more militants would only attract more guns against them.
She reiterated that India and Pakistan should talk to each other since guns are no solution to a political problem, recalling Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s famous statement that friends can be changed not neighbours.
