Person hospitalized after shooting in uptown Charlotte, Medic says

CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- A person was rushed to the hospital after a shooting in uptown Charlotte Sunday evening.

Medic responded to a call in the 500 block of North Church Street. The person shot was transported to CMC Main with serious injuries, Medic said.

Officials did not say if a suspect has been identified in this incident.
