Flood alert issued in low-lying areas of Bengaluru

The Karnataka State Natural Disaster Monitoring Centre (KSNDMC) has issued a flood warning in the southern and eastern regions of the city for Monday.

BENGALURU: The Karnataka State Natural Disaster Monitoring Centre (KSNDMC) has issued a flood warning in the southern and eastern regions of the city for Monday.

A release by KSNDMC stated that according to forecast, flood-vulnerable locations in the zones of RR Nagar, East zone, South zone, Mahadevpura and Bommanahalli are expected to have severe inundation. Moderate inundation is accepted in vulnerable locations of the West zone and Dasanapura zone.
