BENGALURU: The Cyber Crime police have arrested a man who allegedly posted his wife’s obscene photo and phone number on a dating website. The accused has been identified as Vinay, a native of Thirthahalli in Shivamogga. He is aged around 30 years and was working with a Kannada TV channel.

Police sources told The New Indian Express that Vinay had differences with his wife and the couple fought frequently over trivial matters. Vinay had deserted his wife and was living separately from the last few months. To teach her a lesson, he had allegedly edited his wife’s picture, turned it into an obscene one and had posted it on a dating website along with her phone number.“His wife started getting calls from unknown men due to this and she had lodged a complaint with us. Based on that, her husband was arrested,” the Cyber Crime police added.
