Janie Fowler, passed away on June 2, 2018

Janie’s life began on Feb. 24, 1936 in Wilmore, Kan, the daughter of Finis and Opal (De Moss) Hoskins.  Janie graduated from Towanda High School and attended Butler County Community College.  She was united in marriage to her longtime companion Bob Fowler on Feb. 19, 1999 in El Dorado.  Janie worked at the Town and Country Store for many years on W. Central in El Dorado.  She loved travelling with Bob, especially to Colorado.  Janie enjoyed spending time with her sisters and giving her brothers in law fits.  
Her loving family includes: her son Robby Heideman of El Dorado; grandchildren, Shawn (Carla) Heideman, Angie (Adam) Heideman, Shannon Pickett, Charece Heideman, and Randy Toney; 23 great grandchildren; siblings, Helen (Junior) Wright of Towanda and Evelyn (Daryl) Clifton of Cotopaxi, Colo.; her aunts, Margie Holler of Protection, Kan. and Mildred Smutz of Mulvane;  her special friends, Rowena Moore and Jo Samuels.  
Janie passed away on June 2, 2018 at Susan B. Allen Memorial Hospital.
 She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bob; son, Randy Heideman; daughters, Peggy S. Toney and Sherry Heideman Hogan; grandson, Danny Toney; and son in law, Danny Toney.  
Janie’s family will gather with friends at 10 a.m. for a funeral service on Wednesday, at the Carlson Colonial Funeral Home, El Dorado. Burial will be  in Towanda Cemetery.
