The Chase viewers in turmoil over ‘embarrassing’ final round: ‘Worst I’ve seen’
THE CHASE viewers were left reeling today after the performance put forward by the last two contestants in the final round of the ITV quiz.
The Chase contestants Madeleine and Kirsty had both out run Shaun Wallace in their individual rounds, but they fell flat during the Final Chase.

Subsequently, they only received a total of nine points to get ahead of the Dark Destroyer.
Those watching at home couldn’t believe their eyes and took to Twitter to comment.
“The worst final chase of all time #TheChase,” one declared.
“#TheChase 9. 9 steps?! 7 right answers! That’s the worst I’ve ever seen that’s absolutely embarrassing,” another stated.
A third added. “Possibly the worst final chase I’ve seen, dear me. #TheChase.”
“Too embarrassing to watch #TheChase,” a fourth declared.
However, when it came to Shaun trying to catch the pair, viewers were surprised again.
Despite the low score the pair had achieved, Shaun had problems of his won with the questions.
