Warning against Opp moves, Abhimanyu reminds of Govt’s schemes

Haryana Finance Minister Captain Abhimanyu on Sunday cautioned the people in the state against ill designs of the opposition parties aimed at dividing them by drawing the lines of caste, creed and region.

He said, the present Government is working on the motto of “Haryana Ek-Haryanavi Ek” for “Sabka Saath –Sabka Vikas”. The Minister was addressing an Intellectuals’ Conference on the completion of four years of the NDA government at the Centre, at Jhajjar.

Captain Abhimanyu said that  Prime Minister Narendra Modi has worked 18 to 20 hours a day without any leave and his only goal is to make this country great.

During the four years of the tenure of the present Government, 31 crore bank accounts were opened under Prime Minister's ‘Jan-Dhan Yojna’ and  on the premium of  Rs 12 to Rs 330   insurance cover of up to Rs two lakh to Rs five lakh was provided, social security was provided under pension schemes, LPG connections were given to  10 million poor people under ‘Ujwala Scheme’ and  provision was made in the budget of current year to provide free treatment to  50 crore members of 10 crore families under “Aayushmaan Bharat Yojna”, said the Minister.

Captain Abhimanyu said that the State Government, under the leadership of Chief Minister Maohar Lal, has provided employment to the members of 213 martyrs who had sacrificed their lives for the nation.

A sum of Rs 80 crores which was to be given by the previous government to the sportspersons was also given by the present Government, said he. He added that Rs 3043 crores have been deposited in the farmers' accounts as compensation for their crop damaged by natural calamities and due to other disasters.
