Kanye West scrapped new album after slavery drama

Kanye West has scrapped an entire album after his ill-advised interview, during which he suggested African-Americans chose to be slaves and confessed he was addicted to opioids.

In his first interview since the release of his latest album 'Ye' West revealed that he completely reworked the record after the controversy.

He noted that the subject was way too sensitive and the original LP had a lot of themes around slavery, so he thought it was best to find a different angle.

Kanye also assumes the tracks on the new record won't be appreciated by all his fans and peers, because they're so raw and honest.

He added that he was finally able to find his voice, and what happens with a lot of artists is they start off with their voice and then they start having to do so many records for so many different people, and become lost.

Thankfully though, he appears to be wrong about people not enjoying the record as it's consistently picking up rave reviews and will no doubt be hitting the charts.
