The Nasdaq ended around 52 points higher, a gain of 0.7%, near 7,606, according to preliminary data, marking the index's first record finish since March 12. The S&P 500 rose 0.4%, while the Dow gained around 179 points, or 0.7%. The small-cap Russell 2000 also scored a record close, continuing its recent run in record territory.
