Nasdaq scores record close as tech leads stock-market gains

Tech shares helped lead a stock-market rally Monday, pushing the Nasdaq Composite to a record close. The S&P 500 rose 0.4%, while the Dow gained around 179 points, or 0.7%. The small-cap Russell 2000 also scored a record close, continuing its recent run in record territory.
