Britain’s Got Talent 2018: Simon Cowell’s ‘surprise’ shock for winner Lost Voice Guy
BRITAIN’S GOT TALENT came to its incredible end last night, crowning Lost Voice Guy as the winner of the competition, but it looks like Simon Cowell may have forgotten something.
Last night saw the emotional finale of Britain’s Got Talent.
After a rollercoaster of a journey, Lee Ridley - The Lost Voice Guy - was crowned the winner of the show.
As with every year’s winner, Lost Voice Guy walked away with £250,000 and a slot at the Royal Variety show.
But fans of the show were expecting something else for the comedian, as Simon Cowell hinted at an extra surprise earlier on in the week.
He announced: “I… they don’t know, not even the producers know.
“I’ve got a surprise for the winner at the end of this series.”
“Not even ITV know! A big, big surprise!
“It’s worth winning. That’s all I can say!”
A surprised Dec Donnelly exclaimed: “Woah, nothing like building it up!”

But following Lost Voice Guy’s epic win, there has yet to be an announcement over what the “big surprise” is.
Rumours have surfaced around the announcement that may hint at Simon taking the winner to the US.
So far only a few of Simon’s winning X Factor and Britain’s Got Talent acts have made it across the pond.
But could Lost Voice Guy be set to hop on a plane and venture to America for his own show?

Whilst announcing who was in the final three of the competition Dec miscounted.
He said: “We’re down to two acts left, Robert White and Gruffydd… no sorry, sorry I apologise we’re not down to the final two we have three left.”
He quickly backtracked and then continued: “DVJ you’re next, you… are not in the final three.”
Fans quickly noticed this and commented: “Awkward slip up by Dec forgetting to mention DVJ weren’t in the top 3.”
