Yami Gautam spotted outside Bombay High Court, prepares for Batti Gul Meter Chalu

Yami headed to court over the weekend to watch a vacation bench session to prepare for Batti Gul Meter Chalu.

Bollywood actor Yami Gautam is currently preparing for her roles in Aditya Dhar’s Uri and Shahid Kapoor-starrer Batti Gul Meter Chalu. In Batti Gul Metre Chalu, Yami plays the role of a lawyer and she recently attended a few hearings at the Bombay High Court to prepare for her role. For Uri, Yami plans to get MMA training.

“ I am planning to attend one of the court sessions for sure before starting Batti. As of now since its summer holidays my lawyer friend and team are figuring a vacation bench session that I can attend basis my schedule currently. I am looking forward to the real experience at a court,” Yami had earlier said in a press statement.

Yami plays a pivotal role in the film as a lawyer alongside Shahid in the film that also stars Shraddha Kapoor. It is directed by Shree Narayan Singh and discusses the discrepancies of electric billing in small towns.

Yami headed to court over the weekend to watch a vacation bench session following advice from her lawyer friend. Shraddha and Shahid will be shooting the drama around Tehri and Dehradun till mid-June. The next and final schedule for the film will be in Mumbai, where actor Yami Gautam will join the team.
