Rogerio revelation
Liverpool missed out on a deal for Rogerio Oliveira da Silva because Juventus captured his imagination.
That’s what the left-back’s agent, Vinicius Prates, has revealed to TuttoJuve.
"Yes, the final of the Under-17 Championship ended,” said Prates, when asked how Juventus discovered Rogerio.
“Liverpool and Juventus had come to Porto Alegre to negotiate [with] Rogerio.
“After Juventus had conducted the long interviews, his wish would be, one day, to be able to part of the squad of the Juventus first-team.”
Fred medical at Man Utd
Manchester United target Fred has arrived for his medical at Carrington.
The Brazilian is expected to complete his £40million transfer from Shakhtar Donetsk to Manchester United today.
Fred, 25, is in the north of England after playing for Brazil in a friendly at Anfield on Sunday.
He will become United’s first arrival of the summer, with manager Jose Mourinho keen to bolster his squad further ahead of the new season.

Winger fight
Tottenham are reportedly competing against north London rivals Arsenal, as well as Liverpool, for Steven Bergwijn.
The PSV Eindhoven star played a key role as Phillip Cocu's side won the Dutch title ahead of his old club Ajax this term.
And his performances at Philips Stadion are said to have caught the eye of Tottenham, Arsenal and Liverpool officials.
Tutto Mercato Web claim PSV are gearing up for Bergwijn to head for the exit door ahead of the 2018/19 campaign.
And the Eredivisie giants are believed to value the winger at £23m (€26m), with a bidding war set to take place.
Allegri to Real Madrid
Real Madrid have approached Max Allegri over their managerial vacancy.
Juventus boss Allegri oversaw a fourth straight Serie A title win of his Turin reign this season.
And with Real seeking a replacement for Zinedine Zidane, Tuttosport claim president Florentino Perez spoke to Allegri on Friday.
Juventus, it is claimed, could be receptive to letting Allegri go.
That is because they in turn would seek to appoint Zidane as their new manager.

Alisson fears
Real Madrid reportedly fear Liverpool or Chelsea signing Alisson after Roma rejected their opening offer.
Don Balon say Los Blancos bid £43million for the Brazil international.
But Roma want more and Real now fear their Premier League rivals outspending them.
Liverpool want Alisson to replace Loris Karius, while Chelsea are interested amid uncertainty over Thibaut Courtois’ future.
Klopp would sell Ronaldo
Jurgen Klopp would sell Cristiano Ronaldo if he were appointed Real Madrid manager.
That is the claim coming out of Spanish transfer specialists Don Balon today.
Klopp is said to be on the long list of candidates Real have drawn up to replace Zinedine Zidane as manager.
The German is a far way of being one of the favourites to join the Bernabeu club, who beat Liverpool in the Champions League final last month.
But Don Balon claim Klopp would waste little time with Ronaldo if he did join the club.

Fred mind games?
Fred may be due to have his Old Trafford medical today but he's certainly not giving anything away.
Speaking after playing the final eight minutes of Brazil's 2-0 friendly win over Croatia in Liverpool yesterday, he told Globo that he does not yet know where his future lies.
The midfielder declared: "I’m going to talk to the people, meet my friends. I still do not know where I’m going.
"I’ll still talk to my agents to find out the reality of it. I want to focus only on the national team. It’s a unique time, the World Cup.
“We have to try to forget things from outside.”
Given that the 25-year-old is expected to pen a four-year deal with the Red Devils later today, we'll take his comments with a rather large pinch of salt.
Neymar to Madrid?
Neymar has long been linked to Real Madrid but Luka Modric appears to have let it slip that the Spanish giants are planning an approach for the Brazilian.
The two were on opposite sides yesterday when Brazil beat Croatia 2-0 in an international friendly at Anfield, Liverpool.
But they could soon be on the same side if Modric's words are anything to go by.
As the two swapped shirts outside the dressing rooms yesterday, Modric told Neymar: "We are waiting for you."
The PSG ace has been linked with a summer deal that would cost in excess of £200million.

Gerrard planning Reds raid
Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard wants to sign Dominic Solanke and Ovie Ejaria on loan at Rangers, say reports coming from Scotland.
The ex-Reds captain left his post as under-18s manager on Merseyside to take up the senior managerial role at Ibrox.
And as he looks to stamp his mark on the Scottish giants' squad, he has identified Solanke and Ejaria as two youngsters to bolster his options.
Ejaria spent last season on loan at Sunderland and the Daily Record say a deal could even be complete inside the next 48 hours.
Landing Solanke may prove more difficult for Gerrard, however, with Liverpool light on depth in the central striking position but the former midfielder is determined to bring in the England youth international.
Fred medical confirmed
Fred will undergo a medical at Manchester United on Monday ahead of his transfer from Shakhtar Donetsk.
The midfielder has been in Liverpool over the weekend for Brazil's friendly with Croatia at Anfield.
Fred will now stay in the UK, while his fellow countryman prepare for the clash with Austria next Sunday.
And according to Sky Sports, the player's medical at United will take place on Monday.
To add, the deal could be officially completed as early as Tuesday lunchtime.
Chelsea join Alisson chase
Chelsea are considering making a bid for Roma goalkeeper Alisson.
The Brazilian's form has attracted interest from the likes of Liverpool and Real Madrid in recent weeks.
And the 25-year-old looks set to snub the Reds in favour of a move to the Bernabeu.
However, according to Spanish outlet Don Balon, Chelsea are now considering swooping for Alisson this summer.
The Blues look set to lose Thibaut Courtois as the Belgian continues to stall over signing a new deal at the west London outfit.
Mourinho backed to sign Fred
Brazil boss Tite has backed Jose Mourinho to sign Fred.
The midfielder wants his future finalised before the World Cup this summer.
And Tite admits he would also like to see Fred's move completed before the squad travel to Russia.
"Edu [Gaspar, general coordinator for Brazil’s national team] has a very loyal relationship with the players," he told reporters.
"When there is a club-related matter, which is inevitable, they will put it to us and the goal is to resolve it as soon as possible to get the mind geared towards the national team.
"If I were a coach, I would ask him to sign him, too."
Fekir deal 'not close'
Liverpool are not on the verge of an 'imminent transfer' for Lyon star Nabil Fekir.
The Frenchman is fully expected to join Anfield in the coming weeks in a deal worth around £60m.
And reports emerged on Saturday which suggested Fekir's move was set to be confirmed this weekend, with a medical scheduled today.
However, according to the Daily Mirror, a transfer is not close to completion due to Lyon chief Jean-Michel Aulas.
The publication's northern football correspondent David Maddock tweeted on Sunday: "Fekir did NOT travel to Liverpool this weekend. No deal imminent.
"He has told Lyon he wants to go, but discussions still in formative stages, with French club president Jean-Michel Aulas keen to wait until after World Cup in hope of fee increase.
Umtiti signs Barca deal
Barcelona have confirmed Samuel Umtiti will put pen to paper on a new five-year deal.
The Frenchman has been a transfer target for Manchester United in recent months as Jose Mourinho looks to bolster his defensive ranks.
But Umtiti has officially ended speculation over his future by committing to Barcelona for the foreseeable future.
The Catalan outfit released a statement on their website on Sunday afternoon, reading: "FC Barcelona and Samuel Umtiti have reached an agreement to extend the player’s contract for a further five seasons through to 2022-2023.
"The Frenchman will be putting pen to paper on Monday at 10.00am in the Josep Suñol lounge at the Camp Nou. About half an hour later, at around 10.30am, he will be speaking to the media in the Ricard Maxenchs pressroom."
Liverpool launch £79m Oblak bid
Liverpool have reportedly launched a record-bid for Atletico Madrid goalkeeper Jan Oblak.
The Slovenian is already one of the most sought-after goalkeepers in world football at present after a solid few years in La Liga.
And according to reports in Spain, Liverpool have already tested the waters with a €90m (£79m) offer for the 25-year-old.
Arsenal have also been heavily linked with Oblak in recent months.
But Spanish outlet Don Balon claim the Reds are confident Atletico will accept their offer in the coming weeks.
Arsenal scout Yazici
Arsenal chiefs have been scouting Turkey in the hope of securing Unai Emery's first signing as Gunners manager.
The Spaniard has been quick to ensure his staff in north London are working to land his requested transfer targets before the start of the season.
Arsenal have already been linked with moves for Sokratis Papastathopoulos and Caglar Soyuncu in recent weeks.
But according to Turkish-Football, it is the latter's countryman Yusuf Yazici that Emery desperately wants to sign this summer.
The Trabzonspor attacking midfielder was heavily linked with a move to Arsenal under Wenger.
But the Turkish publication claims scouts have been to watch Yazici's two international games this week.
Fekir update
Liverpool remain determined to sign Nabil Fekir this summer, but have denied claims his agent is on Merseyside and he will undergo a medical in the coming days.
It was reported last night that Fekir and his agent were due in the UK today and he would hold talks before going through a medical procedure.
But, according to the Liverpool Echo, the club have denied that is the case, but it is stressed that the Reds remain intent on bringing him to Anfield.
Fekir is valued at around £60m but Lyon president is keen to see how he does during the World Cup in Russia, in the hope he could spark a bidding war.
Bayern Munich and Chelsea are also interested, but his agent claims there has been no contact from the German side.
Fred to sign on Tuesday
Fred is set to become Manchester United’s first summer signing and the deal could be confirmed by Tuesday.
Fred is with Brazil as they take on Croatia in Liverpool this afternoon.
But, according to the Manchester Evening News, his agent has flown in to the UK and they will travel to Manchester together tomorrow.
He will undergo a medical and then deal could be announced on Tuesday.
United have already agreed the £53m fee with Shakhtar Donetsk and the player terms are expected to be wrapped up quickly.
Fred, 25, will sign a four-year deal with the option of a fifth.

Klopp Real’s top choice
Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is reportedly the Real Madrid players’ No 1 choice to replace Zinedine Zidane.
The Frenchman quit the Bernabeu on Thursday after two-and-a-half years in charge.
And according to Spanish news outlet Don Balon, the Real players want Klopp at the Bernabeu too.
They say Real captain Sergio Ramos has told Florentino Perez to move for the Liverpool manager in the coming weeks.
Arsenal urged to sign Forsberg
Arsenal have been urged to sign Emil Forsberg this summer.
Unai Emery has taken the hot seat at Arsenal and is reviewing his squad ahead of the new season.
And Anders Limpar believes Forsberg should be a top target.
Limpar told football.london: "If we get Emil Forsberg, we will be so lucky.
"He’s the biggest prospect we have in Europe. He has been really good in the Bundesliga and has been outstanding for the national side.
“If we get him, we would get a hell of a player who could produce points with assists and goals.
“Please God, we should sign him straight away - if we can.
"Emil would fit right in at Arsenal. He is so mobile, he can pass the ball and put assists up. He is one of the better players I have seen here in Sweden in many years, if you take Zlatan [Ibrahimovic] away. He is a really good prospect.”
Pogba-Bale swap deal?
Man Utd transfer target Gareth Bale could reportedly be heading to Old Trafford in a stunning swap deal involving Paul Pogba.
The Real Madrid star is a long-term target for the Red Devils, with Jose Mourinho trying to sign the Wales international last summer.
And according to Spanish news outlet Don Balon, Mourinho is desperate to go all out for Bale.
They say the United boss is even willing to include Pogba in a stunning player-plus-cash offer for the former Tottenham star this summer.
Umtiti decision
Samuel Umtiti will commit his future to Barcelona in the coming days ending Manchester United’s pursuit, according to reports in Spain.
Umtiti was Jose Mourinho’s top defensive target coming into the summer.
He was embroiled in a contract stand off with Barcelona and Manchester United were keen to swoop in and trigger his £53m release clause.
But Sport claim he will pen a new deal at Barcelona this week with the club agreeing to increase his salary.
Umtiti’s lawyers are expected in the city on Wednesday and Thursday to ratify the deal.
"It's clear that I want to renew at Barca and I hope to be in the team next season,” said Umtiti in L'Equipe.
“I’m at a club that has helped me realise my dream. I have a contract and for me to go they will have to kick me out, I will not decide to leave.”
And Mourinho will now have to look elsewhere to strengthen his defence.
Verratti to Man Utd
Man Utd boss Jose Mourinho wants to make PSG’s Marco Verratti his marquee signing this summer.
The Mirror say the France international could cost around £100m.
Mourinho wants to rebuild his midfield at Old Trafford, with Verratti and Shakhtar Donetsk’s Fred his top targets.
Martial wants a decision
Anthony Martial has urged Manchester United to decide on his future.
The France ace, left out of the World Cup squad, is in limbo with links with a move but also the club intimating they could start talks over a new deal.
Martial wants a big jump in wages - from £85,000 a week to £150,000 a week - to commit his future to the club and is keen for his future to be clear in the coming weeks.
But Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho is still keeping an eye on Gareth Bale’s situation at Real Madrid and is keen on Willian at Chelsea.
Martial would look to be the obvious fall guy for either of those to come in after Alexis Sanchez was signed in January.

Fekir medical
Nabil Fekir should be in Liverpool today to finalise a move to the Reds.
According to French football journalist Romain Collet-Gaudin, who works for Eurosport and Canal Plus, Fekir will undergo a medical in the coming days.
He tweeted: “#Fekir and his agent Jean-Pierre #Bernes should be in #Liverpool this Sunday to settle the final details of the transfer of the French international.
“If all goes well, medical visit in stride! #LFC.”
Arsenal want N'Zonzi
Sevilla star Steven N'Zonzi could be heading to the Emirates this summer.
The Daily Mirror say Emery wants to make N'Zonzi his first summer signing.
They say the new Arsenal boss has had to convince the Gunners board to make a move for the 29-year-old.
And Arsenal head of recruitment Sven Mislintat is now ready to sanction the deal after discussions with Emery about the former Stoke star.
The Mirror add that N'Zonzi is keen to link up with his former boss Emery, who he worked with at Sevilla.

Fred to join Man Utd next week
Man Utd transfer target Fred will arrive at Old Trafford next week.
The Shakhtar Donetsk midfielder has been heavily linked with a move to the Red Devils in recent weeks.
United lead their arch-rivals Manchester City in the race to sign the Brazil international, 25, this summer.
And according to The Sun, Fred will complete his move to United in the coming days.
They say the midfield maestro will arrive in the coming week, with the deal costing around £52.5m.
Klopp to Real Madrid?
Jurgen Klopp has emerged as the first choice of Real Madrid fans to be the successor to Zinedine Zidane as manager of the world’s most glamorous football club.
The Liverpool boss, whose team lost in the Champions League final against Real last weekend, received 29 per cent of the vote in a poll of Madrid supporters.
That was significantly above the bookmakers’ favourite, Tottenham’s Mauricio Pochettino, who was in second place on 23 per cent.
It is all part of the dance that starts whenever Real Madrid are looking for a new first team boss or buying their next Galactico superstar player.

Chelsea’s Lewandowski battle
Juventus could be in the market for Chelsea and Real Madrid target Robert Lewandowski if they sell Gonzalo Higuain.
There has been plenty of speculation that the Bayern Munich forward could leave the Bundesliga champions with Real Madrid and Chelsea both wanting the Poland international.
Chelsea could be looking for a replacement for Alvaro Morata who has failed to reach the standards expected of him.
Madrid have been interested in Lewandowski for the past few transfer windows and are set to renew that interest this summer.
Though Corriere dello Sport now report that Juventus will also take a look at the 29-year-old should they sell Higuain.
