Apple is expected to announce its new mobile operating system, iOS 12, at its Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) event today.

The software update won’t be available to the public right away, but is expected to be released later this year. Here’s what’s on our wishlist for iOS 12.

1. Better augmented reality support

Apple released its ARKit software in 2017, which allows app developers to easily build augmented reality features.

So far, the apps using augmented reality haven’t really wowed. At present, they’re more like fun gimmicks. Playing Star Wars holochess is fun, but it feels like Apple could prompt developers to do more with this feature.
