Could DeLand get a new recreational facility?
The possibility and other matters related to its master plan will be discussed at a public workshop at 6 p.m. Wednesday at the Sanborn Activity and Event Center, 815 S. Alabama Ave., city spokesman Chris Graham said.
Members of the Parks and Recreation Department and CPH, Inc., a Sanford-based architectural/engineering firm, will give a presentation and discuss options for a new facility, which would be built north of Taylor Road off Martin Luther King Jr. Beltway, Graham said.
