Two children were among those injured when the Uber taxi crashed into people after colliding with a van at an intersection.

An adult has been taken to hospital with serious injuries while the others are said to have minor injuries.

Sydney tourist Nicole Brown, who was a passenger in the Uber taxi, said: “We went to turn, when suddenly a yellow RACV van came up on the inside lane and clipped the car… we lost control.

“We started spinning and took out all these people.”
